A letter to 2012

Dear 2012

For the first time i have been inspired to write about our little affair, this is all thanks to you for being too kind to me. I recall the first time i laid my eyes on you, i felt a connection and chemistry in it full stage of existence. You gave me many opportunities to lead, learn and love. you completely fulfilled the empty space left by the passing of my beloved 2011. The memories i have of you are memories of joy, love and success.

Ohhh yes, we did have our downs but i honestly think our downs were surpassed by the amount of our ups. Today i want to acknowledge the role you played in my life. I know that soon we will be separated, i also know that you'd would have loved to spend your entire life with me together until the end. I thank you for understanding that there comes a time where a child to be independent, and that there comes a time for lovers to be separated. As we soon going to separate i pray that you understand that i appreciate you, for you will always have a special place in my heart. Your face and actions are engraved in my heart.

I do not know what kind of a person 2013 will be, but i know whatever challenges they bring i will have enough courage and strength to take them on, because of the lessons you gave me. I hope that you were as good to others as you were to me, if not, i hope that you find it in your heart to request your colleague (2013) to bring to them positivity and hope.
